My EDD is Jan 2022. My gynae couldn't give me any advice to take or not to take as it is ultimately own decision and they don't want to take responsibility for any consequences.. I WFH and barely go out, but it is slowly driving me crazy cos I can't dine out 🥲 just 4+ months to go and most of my family members also feel I should just bear with it and stay safe as much as possible instead of taking the vaccine..
I wanted to wait, but I get paranoid when I’m not vax and who may pass me Covid since family also goes out. Even with full vax possible to get Covid but symptoms are milder. I didn’t want a case where I have no choice but to take the treatment, also not sure how strong those meds are. Confining myself to the home also affected my mental health. In the end made a decision after consulting with gynae.
my edd march 2022. Dr tc chang at thomsom told me to get covid vaccine after 14 weeks. and only get the Pfizer vaccine as it is most researched and used in market so far. a gp in tampines that I always visit even told me I could get the vaccine in first trimester . I feel its better to be vaccined while pregnant and pass the antibodies to newborn. good luck
My EDD is feb 2022 too! Just took the covid vaccine two weeks ago when i was 15 weeks pregnant. My gynae advised to take it but ultimately was my decision. I read articles online and was convinced it was safe so decided to go for it. The consequences of contracting Covid-19 is much more scarier for me.
My edd is on 31st dec 2021 and i just go for my 1st dose just now at 23 weeks . Having sore arms now . Other than that , nothing . Have to protect myself and baby against covid . Hearing all this malaysian pregnant mums got covid and not vaccinated scares me . But please get advise from ur gynea 1st .
My EDD is also Feb 2022 and im not taking the vaccine! Its true, the doctors will say its ultimately your choice because they will not bear any consequences. Cant dine out but i can still go for long walks and picnics. Dont really mind it. I'll take the vaccine maybe a few months after birth 😊
My gynae encouraged me to take vaccine because they said higher risk if we got it but they also mentioned that vaccine is safe for pregnant lady but not research is done for few years down the road so I decided not to take and wait instead.
My EDD is in feb, I am waiting for my second jab in one week. For me it is better take the vaccine than say sorry later. See the local cases increasing as well, a lil bit worrying for pregnant mummy.
