Anyone tried or plan to go for childbirth course? Any feedback?

I went once during my first pregnancy. The information provided during the course mostly can be found from internet and books e.g. types of pain relief and etc. I think the course will be quite useful for the first time parents to know what do when there is any sign of labour.
