anyone's LO not speaking a word at 2 yrs? mine used to say mama papa and doesn't even wanna say now. he is not in childcare. he is sociable though and likes to play with other kids. he is also lately super addicted to youtube and even at mealtimes he needs his videos before he will be a good boy and eat. he is also picky with food, spits out meat if too tough and of late, he totally rejects fruits. he also hates cold stuff, even things like icecream and yogurt he rejects. a PD lately suggested he goes to a feeding clinic and be seen by a speech therapist and dietician as he may have some food aversions. anyone encounters similar issues as me or can give any advice? so helpless.. feeding one meal is like.. so tough. thanks.

Your PD may be right. My lo was referred by the polyclinic to KKH's feeding clinic and he was diagnosed with food aversion coz he avoids ALL forms of solids, even worse the your boy. He's there to see the dietician, speech and occupational therapist who will help him along his food journey. Best to get a referral and get it treated early. You're not alone mama, hang in there.
