Anyone knows about the "unang subo" pamahiin? I.e. If you want your child to be intelligent, let an intelligent adult give the first solid food to your baby.

Yes, this is a practice in our province (Batangas) aside from the first haircut. But since we're living in Manila, the elders didn't really bother if I do this or not.
