Period while on IUD

Anyone here on IUD? Did you skip a few months after your last menstruation? I had my IUD inserted last March 2019, I exclusively breastfeed my daughter who turned 1 last December 24, had my first period when she was 8th month old (probably August 2019), and my second period came just this month of January 2020. Is that normal? Also, I noticed that I never had any cramps after the IUD and less to no 'solid blood clotting on my sanitary napkinsduring my period days, when in fact I always experience some seriously painful cramps before. My fave thing about IUD is that it made me a little skinny. Did the same thing happen to you?
