insensitive remarks from husband's grandma

hi anyone encountered remarks abt 'u seem to have became fat' after giving birth for >6 months? my husband's grandma made such insensitive remarks and its really uncalled for. how would you dealt w it if you're in my shoes? don't attend any occasions when she is there lest she made such remarks again? or?
