Super Mum

Hi Ling, There are several considerations. And knowing your priorities will help you make a decision as every plan in the market has its pros and cons. Some considerations: - Do you want maternity insurance to be bundled with whole life insurance or investment linked policy? Do you prefer a standalone plan? - Make a priority list of benefits. Eg. Are you more concerned about pregnancy complications or congenital illnesses? Is there a family history of diabetes or gestational diabetes? - Are premiums a consideration? Whatever your considerations are, my advice is to get it early on in your pregnancy. Most companies accept cases at 13 weeks. The further along you are, the more tests and scans you would have done and that may complicate your application for coverage.

thank you Lena! :)
