Duphaston

Anybody given duphaston during the first trimester? What does it do?

Essentially it’s progesterone. It’s to assist you with stabilizing your pregnancy by reducing cramping (though you might still have a minor cramps even with duphaston) and preventing bleeding.

support pregnancy by stabilising.. especially early easily get cramp and spotting, so usually doctor will prescribe if you got such symptoms..

It's to support pregnancy. I was on it until 9+ weeks. Started again for few days after a bleeding episode in 14+ weeks.

Ya I am given till first trimester.. to help support preg. In fact now that it’s finishing, I am rather worried…

same. im at 13 weeks now. right after i stopped, my breast didnt swell that much, stomach not that bloasted and i dont feel that nauseousness, is it normal? Im worried
