Having asthma as a kid, I remember my mom being very meticulous about keeping the house clean, always vacuuming so it would be free of dust. She also made me stay away from other allergens like our house pets, fresh flowers (pollen), and my dad after he smoked. She also enrolled me in swimming classes to improve my lung function.

Hi Sumati, I've heard that ginger tea helps this. Cut an inch size piece of ginger and let it brew in hot water for 10 minutes. If this is too strong for your child, sweeten it with honey and let it cool to room temperature.
