Am going to go into labour in 1 month and I just heard i need a "birth plan". what is it and what do i need to know? Should I start panicking?

A birth plan helps to let your gynae know what type of birth you prefer as well as the methods of relieving labour. In your birth plan, you can also state things like if you want delayed cord clamping amongst other things. I didn't have a birth plan and just told the MO "DON'T CUT!!!" when they were discussing about the episiotomy right there and then. So, i didn't have an episiotomy. Honestly, they see so many births, they know what to do in order to deliver your baby safely.
