Is Antibiotic safe for pregnancy at 1st trimester?

After my lab tests for urine and blood, it shows that I have UTI and my OB gave me cefuroxime axetil to take 2x a day for 7 days. I know doctors are professionals, and must be trusted. But I would just like to know about your experiences in taking antibiotic while pregnant. Thanks!
