I would advise to follow instructions. Use as needed doesn’t mean you can give as and when you like. Use as needed when there’s a need to. 8 month old babies are still very young and you don’t want to be feeding a lot of medication at that age. Follow instructions.
This is for flu / itchiness / allergy.. If that day no flu / itchiness / allergy mean u don’t give. This explain use as needed. Your baby is cough. Speak to your doc over the phone. Did your doc gave your baby cough syrup?
Use as needed simply means, “if your baby needs it”, you can just administer to him. But so long as the dose doesn’t go over 2.5ml/day, it’s fine. You don’t really have to stick to “morning” only.
please read the information on your label. it states this medicine is for flu/itchiness/allergy. bad cough is not a symptom of allergy. please do not self medicate a young child. Best to consult Dr
use as needed means you use only when there's cough, can stop if no cough. if in doubt do call clinic to ask for best advice.
U don't wanna self medicate your LO. just give the clinic a call and check with them please.
