baby sudd clingy

Hi, my 6weeks old baby had a change of behavior. recently it's difficult to put my baby to sleep. She would sleep when we hug and carry her and will cry when put down. And she cries more frequent and very loud. Wondering if it because she wants attention. Anyone encounter the same issue?

Yes, it’s normal. Newborns are getting more aware of the environment and they need comfort. When we hug and carry our babies, they feel very secure. You can try swaddling your baby or use a baby carrier to make her feel more secure. Babies cry to communicate their needs and wants. Hang in there! It will get better.

It is normal. As they grow they want more attention. Since she is 6 weeks then try all means to make her sleep without your carrying her so often. Once she grows older will be hard.

Same when my child at 6weeks. Until he 5 months old 😭
