Tired Mom

Hi, my 6mths old LO cries before every nap/bed time. He doesn't know how to self soothe and I have to rock or nurse him to calm him down and sleep. It takes about 30mins or longer each time Is that normal? Is there any ways improve his sleeping habit? Thank you

If he cries before sleeping it probably means he's already overtired and already wants to sleep before that. Can you try putting him to sleep/nap before that by looking for subtle signs like yawning, eye/ear rubbing, hair pulling. It's OK if he doesn't know how to self soothe yet, each child has their own pace in achieving that.
