Arm/Hand Banging. Is it normal?

My 3month 16days old baby slipped and hit the lower back part of his head(somewhere near the back of the ear) on the edge of the tub. Next day he's arm banging nonstop whenever he's awake. I'm worried if it's because of the slip or a developmental phase i shouldn't worry about.
