38 weeks and no labour sign

39 weeks, doctor asked to induce.Do i really need to induce if no labour sign?I read it wil be more painful if induce compare to natural pain.When check,opening just about 2cm

It is painful to induce! I had to go through it twice. I had GD so the doctor advised to give birth right on time to make sure that the baby is safe and alive. If your doctor recommended you to do so, perhaps it’s for the best. He probably doesn’t want anything bad to happen to your baby.
