Actually ang recommendation talaga is meron ka na intake ng atleast 400mcg ng folic acid even before getting pregnant. Pag wala ka kasi enough folic acid sa katawan it can cause neural tube defects example is cleft lip at palate or ung bingot. Kaya importante folic acid (folate) sa pagbubuntis.
