Tantrums 🥴

My 23mo has been throwing tantrums over every little thing, every minor inconvenience will send her into a meltdown, saying no sends her, not being able to close a box sends her, not allowing her to touch certain stuffs sends her. Any advice?

Did you try to explain to her the reason behind every no, instead of just saying no? It’s important to explain to them before we outright reject their action. And when they do it again, instead of scolding them, you can try asking something like did mummy and daddy say no to this? If they nods their head or reply you, then you can ask them why we say no.

Yep explained everytime, we try to explain everything as well. She doesn't answer when we ask her why we say no or answer us when we ask her what the reason is behind certain stuff we told her, she'll instantly go into a full on meltdown when asked, she knows why she just gets upset over the why
