Hi My 17th month old son strikes his head on floor everytime when he demands something.It may sound funny but I am so much worried as he strike his forehead and back too. I couldn't get any solution for these and used to slap him.But after slapping too he doesn't change his habbit. Should I consult a paediatric or what else. Kindly suggest me.

i will say do be a little patient, even though i can feel how worried you must be getting, and ignore your baby for that particular moment. sometimes, babies do this to gain attention, and if you react at the tantrum, they will do it even more. instead of waiting for such a reaction, start showing your love and attention to your baby at all times. let your baby feel that you are always there with him. play with him and spend good time.
