Infant care cost

Hi, wonder if infant care cost at 1.8k ( before subsidy) is the norm right now? Macpherson area First time mum here...and it seems difficult to search for pricing online unless we express interest in the centre

Hi...can anyone share your experience getting a slot for infant care? My edd is 13 jan 2024...any possibility of getting a confirm slot now or can only wait till baby comes out? I know can applt 3 mths before edd...but i heard the centre dont reply de

I was quite late in applying for IFC for my child. I did it few weeks after birth. Applied through ECDA no respond and waiting time was long. Instead I applied through individual schools direct website. Gotten a slot a week or two. But had to await for atleast 6 months later due to the availability that was limited. I was okay with it. So I will say depends on luck. I know some would apply 3 to 6 months later. Idk but it is just the waiting game for some. And there are people that would call every few weeks esp if they are on waitlist.

Hi all...wonder if anyone encounter the same issue as me? I am currently at wk 17 and the skin infection started from small red bump around my belly area. About 10 days have pass, and it become red patches as shown. No sign of fever, cough or flu. Just itchness when touch the affected area. Doctor at kkh and also raffles had prescibe me w chlorphenriamine. No lotion to apply. Help please🥶🥶🥶

Skin infection

Could be eczema. I had similar rashes on my body when I was pregnant which never happened before. My gynae gave me steroid cream to apply which he said is safe for pregnancy. It went away after about 2 weeks.

Threaten miscarriage

Diagnose w threathlen miscarriage at wk6...spotting for consectively 6 days (only when urinate n wiping) ...baby has heartbeat based on scan 2 days ago...anyone has similar experience n deliver a healthy baby?

Wk 5 slight bleeding

Hi, encountered slight bleeding and headed to hospital. However, there the doctor was unable to see anything when doing tbe scan but confirm that i am pregnant via urine test...wonder if it happens to anyone before? Abit concern cause doc said might be due to 1. early pregancy therefore cant see anything 2.ectopic pregnancy 3. Miscarriage...advice pls🥺

I had same bleeding around that time.but I was doing ivf, so they did hcg blood test for me and confirmed that the numbers are high enough that it won't be a chemical pregnancy. Then I realised that it was because I was walking around alot, and can't really do that in first tri. I had more bed rest and then the bleeding stopped in wk 5. wk 7 I had 1 day of dark blood stain but went gynae and saw my baby heartbeat. and all was well. So just take more bed rest and schedule a scan 2 weeks later. hope for the best
