Hi mummies and daddies, any good childcare to recommend around Bishan/Thomson area? For 12-18months.

Midview city has a few childcare. For affordable one, it’ll be agape little uni. Have been there for site visit, quite comfortable with the in charge there.

painful finger joints

Packing of delivery Bag

If I'm planning for bottle feeding in the event of no milk production after labour, will the hospital help to sterilize the baby bottles? Will be pre-sterilizing the bottles but usually they only last up to 12hours right? Oh and how many bottles should I bring along?

Yes, the hospital won’t help sterilise your bottles. Anyway, there is no need to prepare bottles. If your milk hasn’t kicked in after labour and baby is hungry, you can ask the hospital to give formula milk. They will give premixed formula in little bottles with individually wrapped sterilised teats.

Hi mummies may I know what brand of oil do you use for perineal massage?

We suggest using a small amount of unscented, organic oil, for example, olive, sunflower or grape seed oil, to lubricate the area and make the massage more comfortable. You can also use an unscented personal lubricant, such as K-Y Jelly™. Don't use synthetic oils such as baby oil or petroleum jelly (Vaseline)

Prenatal Massages at Outlets

Hi, would like to check if any mummies here purchased prenatal Massage package at outlets. (E.g Madam Partum). I was informed that prior to my massage sessions I now have to pay an additional consultation and treatment fee before I'm allowed to go for my fully paid massage package. Did any mummies experience this too? Not sure when will Phase 1 be over, but with 4 sessions remaining I doubt I'll be able to utilise them before my edd in July ? Any advice?

Yes, I took up a prenatal package with Madam Partum last year but I wasn’t informed that I need to pay an additional fee before I can utilise the package. You can try asking if you can transfer the remaining sessions to a postnatal package? Their postnatal massage is quite good too!
