Weak And Aching Hands And Arms
Is it normal to have a very CLUMSY, WEAK AND PAINFUL HANDS AND ARMS? Aside from my swollen feet and legs, it's getting heavier and painful. My OB told me to relax because it's normal and just to elevate the position of my feet when sleeping. How about for my hands? I can't even tie my hair and open a bottle cap. Been typing this message as well for minutes because my hands get easily "manhid and tired" of texting. By the way, I'm a first time mom, 33 yrs old and on my 8th month now. Your responses and advices would mean a lot. Thanks! :(
Long Drives And Travel
My husband's family is planning to have a trip this February and my husband wants to include me in. I am on my 3rd Trimester today and I am afraid to join them since I feel VERY TIRED AND EASILY GETS TIRED lately and I consulted our OB yesterday and she said since the trip will be on the 2nd week of February, I need to have atleast 2 weeks bedrest to prepare my body for the long drive. She also advised us to have my monthly checkup a little early to check the status of my body and my baby before allowing me to join the trip. I really don't want to disappoint my husband since this would be l the first family outing we're going to join in as a husband and wife. We're going to La Union by the way and will rent a private van for the entire trip and will stay day for 2 days. Any thoughts?
Lying In VS Hospital
For first time mommies or first baby, is it really not reliable to go to a Lying In Clinics to give birth? Setting aside the financial state of the patient or the mom, do you guys think Lying In Clinics cannot provide adequate facilities and service to the moms / patient when giving birth? Most of the articles and comment sections I've read, they said some public hospitals provide the same service that Lying In Clinics could give. But of course, we all know that the more we pay for a high rate of service in a hospital, we could expect better and safe service and facilities from them. Any thoughts?
Is It Normal To Have "paninigas ng tiyan"?
I am 22 weeks pregnant and fond of drinking iced water that most of my mommy friends would tell me it's not healthy for me and my baby, but my OB said it's all fine for as long as I am drinking enough water everyday.
Gets Easily Tired.
21 weeks now and I realized that I easily get tired just by doing small stuff. Like walking at the mall, doing VERY FEW laundry, doing groceries, etc. Is it normal? I am a first time mom and I am already 32 years old. I kept on thinking that my age might be a factor why I feel tired most of the time or my body is too weak to be pregnant at this age. Is there anything that I can do to lessen my legs and back pain at night? Thanks!
Is it still safe and possible to Find A Job if You're Already 5 Months Pregnant?
Hi. I am a first time mom and I am already at my 21st week. I was trying and planning to look for a part time job to help my husband save and buy stuff for our baby but I am a little hesistant that some companies might take my pregnancy as a factor not to hire me or give me a year of contract. I am a teacher and was adviced to have a 2 weeks total bed rest during my 1st trimester when we found out I am already pregnant for 2 months. So I decided to quit my job since I cannot have an indefinite leave from the company because I was in my probationary period that time. My OB told me that I am doing well now, so as our baby and I wonder if it is still possible for me to continue my work even for part time only until my 6th or 7th month. Is it a good or a bad idea? I don't want to risk my baby of course, but I really want to save money for myself and help my husband with the expenses.
Coffee x Caffeine x Dark chocolate drinks
Are these bad for pregnant women ? I am well aware that too much caffeine is bad for pregnant women especially sodas eg. COKE PEPSI ROOTBEER etc. But how about coffee once a day (at the morning), iced tea, milk tea, dark chocolate drinks. Are these okay? I am 21 weeks pregnant and a first time mom. Thank you in advance! :)
