Milk recommendation

my son turning 12 months soon. Whats is recommended milk brand for 1yrs old? and how many ml should he been drinking?

Risk of jaundice

My son is high risk jaundice. He always need take blood test. i felt like horrible mother watching him in pain. He already went for photo therapy. All the doctors and nurses assured me is very common case. But is very tiring keep going to polyclinic for check up. Is there any way or tips to keep his jaundice down ?

Actually the only thing you can do is to Just keep giving him milk to drink every 3 hrs even if he’s sleeping. Other than that only phototherapy will work. Doctors say sunlight doesn’t help but I did expose both babies to morning sunlight (before 10am) for my own peace of mind. My mum used a Chinese herb called ‘inkirrab’ or smth (idk how to spell) and wrapped it in a small towel and put beside them as it is said to reduce jaundice. I also bought the special herbal bath for jaundice to bathe my baby. Doesn’t help significantly but at least we tried for our own peace of mind. For my first baby after he underwent 2 days of phototherapy his jaundice dropped. Then no need to get pricked anymore. For my second baby she also had jaundice but did not need phototherapy. However we had to keep going back to polyclinic every 2 days for the first week then she subsequently once or twice for the second-forth week until her lvl dropped below 100.

i getting induced labour next week and i am so scare. I heard is long and painful process? Anyone going through the same thing?

I was induced too. It was a short and painless process with epidural. I only felt a pressure down there when I was almost fully dilated. Don’t worry and wishing you a safe delivery!

Tea & Primrose oil

hello Mamas, Does drinking raspberry tea and taking primrose oil pill help with cervix? i heard some says insert primrose into vagina... Does it really work?

for me it is deep squat, stairs climb, butterfly sit and the gelek-gelek your hips. it helps for me. my labor was 1hr.

i was doing research its says sleeping left is best position. But recently my baby perfer right side of sleeping .. Everytime i try sleep on left.. he keep pushing and kicking to the point its getting uncomfortable. Anyone experience that? Btw i just reach 35 week pregancy..

same here. usually i'll just toss and turn. switch after few minutes. but will try to sleep.on left pop a pillow on both sides etc. if it gets too uncomfortable then change to right side.

suffering with GD

i am struggling with GD initially i can control it but now with 33 weeks pregnant. No matter how healthy i try to eat my sugar level so high even worse when i super stress. I get emotional and starting crying is been very stressful pregancy

Hey, sending some encouragement over to you. Did the doctor recommend you to see a dietician? Not sure what is your diet like, but when I was first diagnosed with diabetes, I had a hard time too. It’s been 2 years and I am expecting my first child. I still get frustrated that I have to put so much thought just to buy a meal or cook a meal to keep the glucose levels down. I learnt that some food that we think are healthy may not necessarily be healthy. For example, oats would generally be recommended for diabetics. But it was only 2 years after I was diagnosed with diabetes and I have to control my glucose even more for my baby that I decided to research. And i found out that INSTANT OATS ARE NOT HEALTHY. Because they are instant, they are precooked so that it’s fast to cook. And because of that, the glycemic index is high, thus leading to high glucose. But other forms of oats are okay. Rolled oats are okay just not instant oats of any form.
