Claiming of SSS Maternity Benefit

Here's the situation. Last monday we went to SSS to ask about the maternity benefit. I was an employee but I resigned last March 11. Ngayon magpapavoluntary sana ako. Nung nagtanong na ako about sa benefit, sabi ng personnel na nakausap ko, since nakapagpasa ako ng Mat 1 sa previous company, need kong maipanganak muna si baby at macomplete lahat ng requirements ng Mat 2 para mareceive ang benefit ng BUO. Ganon na ba talaga ang kalakaran ng SSS about maternity benefit? Any insight or experience that you can share will be very much appreciated.

Magandang hospital for giving birth

I'm on my 27th weeks now and di po ako makapili ng magandang ospital dito sa metro manila na kahit public e maganda ang facilities at maalagaan ka ng husto while giving birth. Any suggestions mga momshies? Or experiences that you can share with me?
