Yay! I survived 1 & 3/4 day of not eating the anti-vomitting medicine. So far so good. Managed to eat rice during yesterday's dinner with some food. I'm aware of my body now, with the constant need to eat something every few hours so as not to be hungry.. No major merlion-ing, just occassional nausea if i'm hungry.. My tastebuds has yet to come back. But sweet stuff appeals to me. Otherwise it's bland bland stuff which also appeals. Another #achievementunlocked Continue to monitor.. Woohoo! Reached my 2 month milestone. To celebrate this milestone, i have broken my personal record in food! Met up some friends for lunch, and we shared the following dishes: - 鱼片米粉汤 - trio eggs spinach - claypot tofu - stir fry beef with spring onions. Surprisingly, i ate more than my usual portion. After lunch, went for round 2 of dessert. Now, i had a satisfying dinner of fish burger & nugget burger with small whipped potato. #achievementunlocked!
Read moreI've been eating mee sua soup for the past 1 month. Tried to eat rice & other home cooked dishes, but it doesnt suit my palette. It seems that my kiddo likes to eat either bland stuff or sweet stuff. I've tried food like: chocolate bread, blueberries, japan pear, strawberry, stir fry ladies fingers, mee sua in soup.. these are fine. Certain home cooked dishes just dont work out, couldnt swallow. Read moreFinally tried the enfamama chocolate milk. Taste good, i like the taste. But 2 hours later, it caused me to have soft stools. And it happened twice. I suspect that i am lactose intolerant. Are there any lactose free alternatives? I've called NUH O&G, the nurse said can try yogurt, cheese. If not calcium tablets as a worse case scenario. Anyone can share tips on not making my stomach empty? I get hungry easily, like say ard 10am+, 4pm+. I've been eating biscuits for the pass few days to curb the hunger pangs.
