My 2 year old has many sleep issues since we shifted to a new flat 6 months back. She was such a wonderful sleeper no issues. She now has very vivid dreams and says she is afraid. Terrors at times as well. She will not go to bed unless I sit outside her door till she falls asleep. She wakes up every night usually around the same time crying for me. Do you know what's going on?
My 30-month old hates haircut all the sudden! He scream & cried so badly that the hairdresser dun even dare to touch his hair. We tried all ways, coax & talk to him. It's weird that he used to walk into saloon himself but hates it suddenly. How do u tackle this? Bite the bullet & force him or..? Thanks!!
My daughter is 18 months old. She rarely watches TV and we always read books. My problem is, she still can't say a lot of words. I am worried that she might be having speech delays. Has anyone of you had the same experience? Though, my daughter understands and listens to us whenever we talk to her. Am I worrying too much?
2 year old tantrums
How do you calm your toddler down? My 2-year old son demands to get what he wants, when he wants, all the time. I guess that's the case to most toddlers but I'd say my boy's a bit different. If we say 'no' or if we ask him to wait, he'd throw things, cry aloud or lay down on the floor crying. We had him checked and he's completely healthy (no adhd or anything like that). Sometimes, I just feel so guilty as I also tend to lose my patience.
What is needed to bring along and take note of when going overseas with a 3.5 yrs old ?
My 26mo couldn't kick off her bad habit of sucking her fingers. Any successful ways to stop it? There is once when she gotten hfmd and we thought she wean off, but once she recover she start sucking again. Day and night! Now we need to bandage some of the fingers when she sleep cause her fingernails are getting weak from all the saliva soaking. . Sucking fingers is actually her way of self soothing thou. Sometimes when we don't let her suck she will bite her blanket. But it's still not a long term solution. Thanks!
Is it actually possible/ advisable to go on overseas holiday with 2 or more very young kids. I'm only worried we end up in the hotel room doing the daily routine feeding and tiring ourselves even more!
