Negative responses when revealing gender
Honestly quite disappointed by some elders' immediate responses when we told them we are expecting a girl (first child). Anyone faced similar comments? (Most replies here are advocating "just ignore", which doesn't help la haha. 😂 Wouldn't have ranted here if I've been able to ignore! I'm hoping to hear from more in the same boat, to feel less alone! ) Instead of congratulatory words, these were their responses. FIL went "Oh, 不要紧 la (never mind)." Like, huh, what is there even to mind in the very first place? He's never talked about the pregnancy since then. SIL went, "What did father say about you having a girl?" the very moment we told her we are having a girl. I guess we all knew FIL would rather have a grandson. Aunt went, "Oh...next one can have a boy." Huh, but why must we? I wished I could say something to them, to let them know it's not okay. Instead of just ignoring/sucking it up.
Abortion history
I had an abortion about 10+ years back when I was young. Now I am married, and will be going for the 1st doctor visit. I'm worry what to answer, how to answer to the doctor, as I haven't told my husband about my abortion history. Any suggestion? Or can I keep it discreet since it happened more than 10 years ago?
Hemorrhoids
Any mums experience hemorrhoids? There is blood whenever i pooed, not painful but just wondering if it is normal. I am at week 31 now, only due to go my routine checkup this friday.
Please help a desperate first time mum

I cannot make my baby sleep
It’s making me feel like I am not a mother at all. One that is not capable. LO will push away and cry until no voice if I try to carry to sleep. When my husband takes over it is no issue. Anyone else facing this problem? I don’t know what to do and it’s making me depressed. Lo is more than 7 months
