Engaging confinement nanny for 2nd kid
Hi all! I'll be having my second kid come December, and I'm in a dilemma whether to engage a confinement nanny. I currently have a helper and a 2-year old kid. Pros: nanny can take night duty and cook and prepare meals well. Allow me to rest at night and eat freshly cooked food. Cons: With a helper alrdy, I don't need help for housework nor laundry. Secondly, I'll also need to wake to pump even if I don't have to take care of the newborn. But I'm also concerned that my helper will be overwhelmed by the sudden increase in workload as she is already looking after my 2-year old at night, though I'll be looking after the newborn myself mostly. And of course, the cost for hiring a nanny is quite expensive, so I'm hesitant.. For those who had engaged a confinement nanny for your second child while having a helper, may I ask why/why not?
Overthinking
This is my first pregnancy, and honestly, I don’t know how to stay calm. I’m turning 20 weeks now, and I find myself overthinking a lot. My 20-week appointment is coming up, but I’m already spiralling. I haven’t felt any movements yet, and seeing stories of pregnancies that didn’t make it past this point has made the fear even worse. I’m trying to stay positive, but it’s hard. I’m so scared, and I don’t know how I’m supposed to live with this kind of anxiety until I finally get to hold my baby in my arms.

Fat shamed during Pregnancy
Hi Mummies, Have you ever been fat shamed during pregnancy? I've always gained weight easily. And for my first child, I gained 20kg. Throughout the pregnancy, I had people commenting on how big I was and 'jokingly' saying that maybe I am having twins. Tbh, it is really hurtful. Now I am having my second baby. I am 12 weeks, but it looks like I am 5 months pregnant. I am not eating overly much either, just really bloated. I have friends and family already beginning to comment on how big I look, telling me to watch my intake. I even have a friend who is pregnant like me commenting about how no one can tell she is pregnant, unlike me, who is round. She brags about how she actually lost weight when pregnant and is very proud of how she is still able to maintain her figure.
Small baby
hi, I'm a first time mummy. I just went for my 20th week check up, amazing how much baby have grown but doc mentioned my baby is slightly on the smaller side but should be ok because me and hubs are small petite hoomans. But it keeps bothering me, please share any tips you might have that can increase baby's size/weight?
