Hi mummies, im currently pregnant w my 2nd one and thinking should i opt for c sect this time round bc of what i experience the first time is so horrible and im scared to even think about it … but most ppl telling me 2nd one would be much more faster and easier ?? Isssit true ? Or should i just opt for c sect ? #pleasehelp

I had a long labour for my first. Hoping i can still go for natural for 2nd. C sec i hear frm so many of my frens that it takes long time to heal. Unless i have no choice otherwise i dun tink i will opt for that.

Gestational Diabetes

I just got my OGTT test result and turns out my third result which was the 120min was a little high 9.7 the doctor told me to come tomorrow and my mind is not at ease, as I am wondering if you're pregnant and have gestational diabetes do the doctor will prick your finger for glucose blood test? like often? because I've done that kind of finger prick test before and I hate it I rather get blood drawn from needle then finger prick.

I’m with nuh, failed my 2nd result. Also had to purchase glucometer and test 7 times a day. 2-3 days a week. Was afraid of needle pricking, especially the very first time I tried to prick. However, after the initial fear, the pricking gets easier. You can adjust the needle length such that it doesn’t hurt.

At which weeks can I inform gynae for Elective C sec?

Im opt for elective C sec as i have my reasons of doing so. My 3 kids all normal vaginal. Wondering at which weeks that I can inform/discuss with my gynae that I opt for elective C sec? Im at my 25weeks.

Hi,just want to find out any recommendations for confinement food & post natal massage. Am 27 weeks now. Not sure where to find a good and reasonable price. . It's way too expensive

tbh, there's way more complaints over confinement nannies these days (esp those from agencies) than recommendations. I took my CN+postnatal massage+herbal package from PEM nonetheless. about $5k+ in total. confinement food wise, so far only hearing good reviews for TMC and Maternity Angels.
