Birthclub: September 2022

Hi, if anyone has delivered recently at KKH in 2022, can you please share the following? 1) Is the baby room-in policy enforced 24/7 and compulsory, or is it optional and parents can opt to have baby stay in nursery, and brought in every 2-3 hours for periodic visits. 2) Due to work reasons as well as previously poor experiences with breastfeeding (this upcoming delivery will be my third child), I will be opting to go with formula right from the start. Is KKH be supportive of mothers’ choice or will strictly enforce breastfeeding policies?

Tried giving full formula, rejected totally.

Dear mummies, my baby does not want to drink up his milk. My baby can play and sleep without any intake up to 8 hours. This few weeks he latch estimate 5 mins or lesser and he let go and cry with tears. I do not know what happen Last night at 4am, my baby drank 100ml out of 120ml after 13 hours without any intake. Last feeding was 3.45pm. In the day time, afternoon he sleeps for 3 to 4 hours and only drink 60ml out off 120ml. His next feeding time is unpredictable. #advicepls #pleasehelp #firsttimemom

My baby is going 3 months. She is about 5kg, according to the formula weight *150, she is supposed to drink 750ml per day. But sometimes she drink only 600ml plus, if she vomit sometimes about 500ml plus. just wondering about how much your baby drinks at this age?

Hi guys! Im a first time mommy, how do i know or see sign that my baby is ready for solid food? Because currently she's only on formula & bf but she's still feel hungry. She gets agitated.

#firsttimemom Hi , my girl has been drinking lesser and lesser from her formula milk. The tin shows that she need 210ml each time but somehow she only manage to drink 70-150ml or even less ! She doesn’t even feel hungry , sometime she can go up 6-7hour without drinking. Currently 5 month now. Has anyone face this issue before or should I bring her to visit doctor ? No fussiness , just super sleepy (16hour-17hour of sleep ).

Hello! Just curious, can 4mo baby recognise their parent left home for few days? Because during cny period, I had to be away from my baby for few nights. His caretaker (my parents) had a hard time taking care of him; fuss often, refuse to sleep in cot (usually he’s ok w it), wants to be carried always, drinking milk is ok tho. When I’m back, he welcome me with his bright smile and keep giggling 😂 everyt back to norm LOL
