Hi there. My 5 month LO has blocked nose / rhinitis for 2 weeks already. Doctor said he can only prescribe nose drops and antihistamines for my LO. He also said blocked nose will always recur even until my LO grows up. Meaning it will not go away (genetic?) So far, I find the medications not effective and my LO blocked nose is still blocked and runny sometimes. Now my LO also coughs with phlegm at night and couldn't sleep well. Until now I don't know what allergies LO has that triggered rhinitis (dust mites?). I have cleaned the house and room. I have tried using sterimar to clean the nose and also aspirator to clear the mucus. I myself have rhinitis and my dad too. It could be hereditary but I pains my heart to see my LO couldn't sleep well. I wonder if any mummy has faced this situation before ? Can help me? #pleasehelp #advicepls

My 5 month baby usually only have 1 feeding in midnight, but yesterday suddenly she woke us up the 2nd time and we tried to coax her to sleep but to no avail. Thus, we have to feed her (we were advised by PD not to feed her due to her overweightness). She slept after her 2nd feed. May I know if this is a phase ? Possible considerations: (1) In the morning, her IFC teacher fed her 2 hrs apart instead of 3 he because she cried non stop and they thought she was hungry. (2) Back home, I decreased her night feed to 120ml instead of 130ml. Can anyone advise me on why my LO suddenly wakes up for 2nd feeding? 😅 #advicepls #pleasehelp #firsttimemom

My baby is 5 months old. I noticed that she drinks less milk now. The last time she used to drink 2-3 hrs 100-120 mls but now she can go stretch to 4 hrs with just 50 mls milk. I noticed she is losing weight too. No more buns shape on the hands or legs :( But besides that she is well. She is active, growing with the right milestones and she is even sleep more now. Any other mothers face the same thing? Or should i bring her to see the doctor? Btw she is on mixed feeding. Recently i even changed her milk powder brand. #firsttimemom #firstmom #worriedmom

Hi Is UV sterilizer better than the steam sterilizer? The latter is more affordable and uses natural hot steam to kill germs and microbateria but UV may not be able to kill germs from all angles like steam though UV sterilizer is much more convenient, safe and fast. Can anyone advise me? When baby grows up, no need sterilizer anymore, do should I still invest in a more expensive UV one?#advicepls

My 4months+ son’s left side area nappy area has peeled off skin. I thought it was diaper rash at first but it got bigger it almost look like shedding new layer of skin. He doesn’t seem like in pain because he didn’t cry when i touched the area. I changed to desitin diaper cream (previously been using Pureen) and applied Mustela cicastela cream on the areas that are peeling off & ensured the area is completely dry before application . My mum said it was because i put too much diaper cream that caused the dryness. Shouldn’t it be applied generously? Or was it because of his diaper size? He’s currently using size S, weighing 6.9kg and I thought I shouldn’t size up yet because the tapes are always touching each other when put on. Please advise! #pleasehelp #firstmom #sos #diaperrash #plsadvise #helpandrespect
