Free diaper for 3 months

Hi, my spouse and I signed up for some package/promotion which allow us 3 months of free diaper (from Pampers I think). We were also able to select the size of the diapers too. Unfortunately, we forgot what we signed up for as it was few months ago. Anyone has any idea what it might be? Thanks in advance!#pleasehelp

Any other moms realise who their “real friends” are during pregnancy? The person who was my bridesmaid hasn’t even spoken to me once since I got pregnant… and it hurts.

Understand how you feel. My best friend, single, fade out of my life back then when I was in a relationship. She remains silent and not choose not talk about it. We have not been in touch since then. Life moves on, I respect her decision to cut the friendship. She may have her reasons. Maybe you should initiate a conversation with her to talk about it if she is open about it. At least, looking back, you won’t regret things you have not done to salvage the friendship.

Are we allowed to do side-lying or on all fours to push the baby out? Cause I’ve heard stories that some hospitals doesn’t allow. Am under the subsidies class #labour

just asked doctor again today about giving birth on all fours. Doctor gave a straight no. 😅 but nonetheless, it's ok to just ask your gynae. who knows they allow it! all the best!

39 weeks 3 days

FTM here, feeling abit stress and indecisive.. just went for my check up and i am still at 2cm dilated since last week.. my gynae recommend that i break my waterbag tmr to help start the contractions as i havent had any yet. Baby weight is also at 3.2kg right now.. i dont know i should do.. should i wait till my EDD which is in 4 days or break my waterbag tmr.. i dont want to be induced and im hoping for everything to happen naturally but i am also trying to avoid csect if my baby gets to big. Any advice? 😔😣

POV for me hold till EDD or another extra 1 week. Why? Because induced can be very painful and if your pain tolerance level is high then good. But, if you don't then pretty sure you will take either jab, gas or epidural. Because for dilation to happened waterbag has to break, contractions kick in then dilation starts. It can take pretty pretty long if dilation never happened. My first child, 3cm dilate, hold 1 week, no sign of birth then I induced. Took jab, gas, epidural and only give birth next day. I exceed EDD and give birth 41 weeks 1 day. My second child, 3 cm dilate, mild contractions (which I wasn't aware), supposingly induced at 40 weeks but I wasn't put as priority at KKH hence I was put at normal ward. I also wasn't allow to exceed my EDD since it is my second. So I said okay. I got a bed at 40 weeks 1 day, in labour from midnight onwards. Give birth 40 weeks 2 days. All I can say is trust your instinct and body. If you sure you can push normal labour then do it. If not induced. But also induced can be painful, long and may lead to C section too. You may read up on local celebrity Nadiah M Din birth journey for her 2nd child till 4th child. All her baby exceed EDD and more than 3kg. It is really inspiring.

Change in baby position

Hello Mummies, Hope everyone are doing great. I'm at week 36 and till week 34 my baby is in Cephalic position starting from the first trimester. From week 36 onwards, I feel strong movements/kicks on the right side of my womb which I haven't experienced it in previous week's. Recently heard many fearful stories regarding changing baby positions during week 32-37. Want to know suggestions from mummies does Cephalic baby position change to transverse or breech in week 34-37? I had my next scan appointment next week but want to know your thoughts on this. At my 36 week mark, and today it feels extra swollen. There’s a slight pain that comes with it as well. I feel like my fatigue & being lightheaded just increases over time these past few days. Should I be worried? And I’m already 1cm dilated since last week. When should I go to the hospital? #firstbaby #advicepls

Swollen feet

No harm to just and go get it checked out. But it's the weekend so it's a little tricky cos the gynae clinic is probably closed. you might have to go A&E.

Natural or C-section

Hi mummies, I’m a first time mom to be in my 35 week. At first I decided to go for natural birth. But recently my gynae held a talk showing the pros and cons of natural. There is a lot more complications compared to C-section. Can mummies share their thoughts? Thank you

Its ur decision sis. Every decision you make either way will be OK. For me im currently in my 33 weeks with my 2nd. I was diabetic way before 1st pregnancy in 2018 and decided to go for natural birth. Like you they sent me to see a consultant on csect pros and cons as being DM patient am not allowed to go beyond 38 weeks. After all the personal talk about csect, I asked if its safe for me to go for natural birth unless emergency. They allowed it afterall. And it was the best decision I had. Coz for now 2nd pregnancy too they asked my 1st if she was born natural or csect. So when they heard me had a natural birth, they didnt send me to see consultant for csect anymore. I am on insulin 3 times a day and metformin. A Highrisk patient. So yeah, you make the best decision. May you have a smooth delivery sis.

What should I pack in my hospital bag?

a set of clothes for baby, mittens and footies, swaddle, breastpump, storage milk bags, toothbrush and toothpaste, one milk bottle small for the baby in case u check out and carry along with u, binder for your body if u do csect, facial wash, socks for yourself and a set of clothes bra and all for yourself. phone charger and devices to chill out. put all these in one gym bag and u re ready.
