Hi, worried kasi ako para sa anak ko, 5 yrs old na po siya. At pudpod na yung ngipin nya sa harapan at para pong may laman sa gitna. Tutubo pa po ba ang permanent teeth nya?? Salamat po!

Masama ba ang pacifier sa baby at thumb-sucking sa development ng teeth niya?

Pacifier is not really recommended as it can affect the alignment of the teeth. As per pedia, thumb sucking is normal for babies and much better compared to pacifier. Kasi with thumb sucking, you can easily train the baby to remove their hands every time they would suck the finger.

Why do I have to worry about cleaning my child's baby teeth? They're just going to fall out anyway.

Yes, the milk teeth will fall out but it could happen at an earlier age, and we don't want our child to experience pain due to the rotten teeth.

Hi! Is it true na kapag daw naunang maupo si baby ay late na magkakaroon or tutubo ang ngipin? My baby was 10 months old now and yet wala pa siyang ngipin unlike any other babies na may 2-4 teeth na by this age. Thank you!

No naman. Walang medical explanation for this. It's just a myth ng mga nakatatanda.

Hello po my babies are 2years old and 3years old na po, same po cla na malPit na mabulok ang teeth at same din po sila na may putol na na ngipin dahil nabulok na po, ask ko lang po ano po ang magandang toothpaste for them para marepair ang teeth nila? Thanks po

Go to your dentist na, mommy. Yung son ko din ganyan since 3 years old. Hindi na naayos ng toothpaste.

Paano po ba mahihikayat na magtoothbrush ang batang tamad ng mag-toothbrush? ?

You may want to buy a toothbrush that is attractive or enticing to your child so that he'll get excited every time you'd ask him to brush his teeth. Pwedeng with sounds or lights basta maaaliw sya.

Hi Ms. Ninia.:) Diba po Calcium ang nutrients na essential for children's teeth? So kapag po ba uminom ng madaming milk ang anak ko titibay ang teeth nya? pero bakit po maraming nasisira ang ngipin sa labis na pagdede?

Hello, Gemma. As I said, hindi calcium ang cause Ng pagka sira Ng ngipin but the sugar na naiiwan sa teeth after mag milk so give your baby water after drinking milk. Thank you

Hi po, ms. Ninia. Ang dalas po kc mag-grind ng teeth ng anak ko, kita po sa teeth nya na pudpod na yung dulo ng front teeth nya. Anu po kaya ang mgandang gawin para hndi na sya mag-grind ng teeth? Habit npo kc nya e. 6 yrs old po yung anak ko.tnx po:)

Pa-check mo agad sa sa dentist nya sis, baka kasi may nararamdaman syang pain sa teeth nya kaya nya ito grinigrind. Normal lang naman yun sa mga bata pero better parin na ipa-check mo sa dentist na lalo na at pudpod na ito.
