2024-12-16Hi any fish oil or calcium gummies to recommend ? Currently my gynae introduce me fish oil and calcium gummies but both doesn't taste well for me. Fish oil soft gel was a tad too huge for me to swallow.
2024-12-16Hello! Need help from the mommies here. My LO is 5months old and down with stomach flu, he has diarrhoea for more than a week (day 10 today) now. Seen PD twice but nothing they can do, given probiotics and diarrhoea medicine, also has changed his formula to soy based even tho he is mostly on expressed breast milk. His diarrhoea is only a small amount everytime he poop, but prior to this he always constipates so we are pretty sure is diarrhoea. Poop about 6-9 times a day. He poop so much until we are not sure is it his norm now or he is still having diarrhoea. Very worry about dehydration too, what should I look out for? How long does baby diarrhoea usually last? Thanks!

2024-12-17I went for my 32 weeks scan yesterday. I was told by the gynae that i met afterwards that my baby is growing below the 10th percentile. Blood flow and placenta seems ok but baby is not growing fast enough. Was advised to increase intake for protein and they target my baby to be at least 2 kg and above by the next appointment (which is in on 7th Jan). Any tips to increase?

Do i need to rinse the chicken with water first before steam? Or i can just cut the chicken and put it into the steamer. Or is boiling a better method?

2024-12-18hi mummiesss pls help!!!!! i am 2months pp and my stitches have dissolved since 2nd week after giving birth. however i am still bleeding a little and i do not know if it is my period or its pp bleeding still. and theres a big gap down there but its not painful. is this normal. i am traumatized to get it restitched if i have to.

2024-12-18My 9 month old baby just doesn’t seem interested in eating proper meals. I’ve been offering her different purees like pumpkin, broccoli, carrot, and potato, but she only takes 2-3 bites before shutting her lips tight. I’ve also tried offering her porridge, she doesn’t seem interested too.. Interestingly, when I offer her biscuits, she eats them without a problem. Because of this, I’ve stopped offering her meals recently since it feels like such a waste of time with all the prep and cleanup. Is it okay that I’ve stopped offering her meals for now? Has anyone else experienced this?
2024-12-18Hello mummies :) I'm currently pregnant with my second and I'm planning on delivering in one of the government hospitals. I will have my first appt this Saturday at KKH but I'm honestly still undecided on which of the three hospitals above to go to for the final stretch later. Would love to hear your opinions and experiences (if any) with any of the hospitals above. Fyi I'm a foreigner with a DP in SG so this will be my first time delivering in the country 😊I haven't actually been to any of the hospitals above in the two years I'm here so would love some advice on it! (also a gynae rec would be lovely. The doctor I'm appointed to this Saturday by the hospital is KT Tan)
2024-12-18Hello mummies, I’ve noticed that my baby, who is now 6 months old, displays the following behaviors: Frequently arches his back and tilts his head back, while I’m carrying him or feeding him in the baby chair. Rubs his head from side to side against surfaces like the stroller or bouncer. Like to hit his face against the playmat during tummy time. Could you share if your babies also display these behaviors? Does ur bb eventually stop doing this at what mth? I’m worried and wondering if these are normal. Thank u mummies
2024-12-19I'm having detailed scan next month, and it fells on my spouse shift. My husband asked me if he cant make it , i ask his mom to accompany. But i rather go alone tho. How do i say it nicely? Cause ive tried but it didnt end well. For me i feel uncomfortable to do so as i cant be myself.
2024-12-19I am very stressed out. My baby hardly burp even after i try different method, and this leads her to vomiting (like merlion) once in a while. She is fed every 3 hours 80ml (only 1 month old). No sign of pain or crying after vomiting but i still worry a lot. Please help a first time mother out, what should i do? And what went wrong?😭

2024-12-20I am a working mother that works full time. As a first time mom, I have a lot of things that I wished I could do for my kid such as cooking, having a nice room for my kid etc. but I have a MIL who loves to do things for my kid. She would say things like “I want to cook this for baby”, “I want to do this for baby”, totally undermining me as the baby’s mother. I feel rather offended tbh. And the most ridiculous thing is she will bring my kid out without telling me. I often hear about it during meal time that she said “oh that day baby did this when we were out”. I was like oh you brought baby out without telling me? I also feel very sad when I heard her talking about my baby’s first. Examples are when I first saw my kid walk, I was so happy and took a video and send to her. She will simply reply, oh baby done that some day ago. You know that kind of feeling? Where something so special to you just seem so normal to others and she could’ve told me that baby took the first step right. It’s not just this but almost all the firsts. I sometimes really regret of not sending my kid to infant care. Well I could have the chance but she pleaded with you saying that she didn’t have the chance to care for her kids, so could we give her the chance to take care of a baby. In my heart, I was like “you had your chance, why come and rob my chance away.” Even when I’m around, they will also try to snatch baby from me. Idk but sometimes during the night I will cry cause I feel like I’m such a bad mom cause I can’t spend much time with my kid. Is this normal or am I just asking for too much?

2024-12-21Hi all, my 5M+ LO has been pooping more than usual at 3-4 times a day. He usually poop once max. Poop looks a bit watery (per pic). He has been drinking much more than usual about 200ml more, likely due to growth spurt. No fever, still very active and happy. Other than the more frequent poop, we are not sure whether this is diarrhoea? Any advice and whether we should visit doc. Thanks. #firsttimemom
