Is Panadol extra with optizorb safe for pregnancy?
Hi mums, I took 1 tablet of Panadol extra with optizorb just now as I’m running a slight fever. Someone misplaced it in normal Panadol box and I didn’t check before taking. Will anything happen to my baby? I am 5 months pregnant.
Hello! It’s not recommended to take panadol extra during pregnancy as it contains caffeine and may contain other ingredients that are not safe for pregnant ladies.
You should only take normal basic panadol. If you don’t have it, do consult a GP and request for pregnancy safe medication. Do not self medicate.
