What is this?

I lost my mucus plug around 38 weeks, and I remember it being a thick, sticky discharge that was almost like snot. It was clear at first, then I noticed a little brownish or pinkish color after a few hours. It’s not always a sign na maglilabor ka na agad, but it’s a good indicator na your body is preparing for birth. If you're not experiencing cramps or contractions, then just take it easy and watch for other signs

I also lost my mucus plug a few days before I went into labor. It came out as a stringy or jelly-like discharge, may konting blood din. I didn’t feel any pain, just a little pressure. But don’t worry, it’s totally normal! The mucus plug can come out weeks or days before labor, so it doesn’t mean agad na maglalabor ka na. Pero if you’re unsure or feeling nervous, it’s always good to call your OB to be sure.

Mucus plug is usually thick and jelly-like, and it can have a pink or brownish tint—that’s totally normal! It's like a thick, gel-like discharge, medyo slippery, and it can come out all at once or little by little. If it’s not too much and wala namang cramping or bleeding, then no need to worry. But kung medyo marami siya, it could be a sign that labor is near, so make sure to monitor.

Mi sabi ng lola ko sakin, yung ganyang mucus-like, gel discharge ay dagtang kalumpang. Wala kang dpat ipag-alala kung wala kang nararamdaman na sakit or kung wala namang kasamang dugo at foul smell ang discharge

Ay mommy mukhang dagtang kalumpang yan. Sticky siya, gel-like and thick ang texture e. Di naman masama yan kung walang amoy, dugo or walang sumasakit sayo mommy

Naglilabor ka na mamsh.. Sa 1st at 2nd baby ko ganyan unang lumabas, mas mskit kesa sa blood ang mauna.. Stay safe po.. 😊
