When to inform?

Hello! At which week do yall start to inform your workplace about you being pregnant? I’m 5 weeks in, and will be having a major work event in the next 2 months.. so far I haven’t experience any morning sickness, but I’m worried if I start to experience it while it’s crunch time building up to the event..

I informed when I was 3 - 4 months+ pregnant because no choice, I was unable to work for an event which was happening the next month so I need to inform earlier. The event required me to stand long hours, floor is slipper due to cold room and carry a lot of heavy cartons. I do not want to risk losing baby.

It would be better to let your boss know in advance. If this event doesn’t require you to carry heavy things or do anything risky for your pregnancy, you can always still go ahead and travel with your gynae approval!
