Though, my daughter is 5-year-old but I haven't yet started telling her any mythological stories. I am kind of confused whether to introduce her to mythology or not. She should know what mythology is, but I guess she is too small to understand what mythology mean! Or perhaps I am confused myself, and not too sure what will I tell her, whether this all is true or not! Whether there really lived Hanuman or not, or Krishna, or Ram or Ravana! If I say yes, then it means I am endorsing the belief that there exist God (which I don't know about) and if I say they didn't, then how would I justify as where all these stories came from. So, I do want to educate my kid the meaning of mythological stories but am not too sure about the answers of the questions she would have when she hears the stories. But, yes, if you are not as confused as me, then you can introduce your child to Krishna, Hanuman, Shiva, Ganesha childhood stories to begin with. :) http://www.kidsgen.com/fables_and_fairytales/indian_mythology_stories/ http://dimdima.com/khazana/stories/showstory.asp?q_cat=Mythological+Stories http://kids.dadabhagwan.org/magic-box/stories/

I tell my kid about Lord Krishna's childhood. Kids relate a lot with little Krishna, His naughtiness, His bond with Yashoda, the way He helped people in distress. You can read out stories from this site. http://www.momjunction.com/articles/best-lord-krishna-childhood-stories-kids_0022642/
