Prefer to do it at upper sec. But almost everyone have a phone in primary school. Its necessary to let them have because they need to be contacted.

When my baby is 10 years old so that it is easy for me to make him understand why not to have too much mobile usage etc. :)

about 12 seems about right, when they start to head out by themselves, you would want a way to communicating with them.

Is good to let kid know the reason why they own a phone. Not for playing game but for communication and emergency call

I had my first phone when i was 13. Its so that my parents can contact me after school hours

I would say 12-14 years so that I would be able to contact them after the end of school
