Pediped is highly recommended. There are two types: Original (size starts from 0 month) and Grip&Go (for 2 years old and above). The designs are very pretty too. I like the excellent quality in pediped. It is made with premium grade, non-toxic materials. Foam insoles & cushions provide a comfortable fit, while padded heels absorb shock. http://www.pediped.com/why-pediped.aspx You can buy from amazon which will be cheaper. Otherwise, you can purchase from pediped Singapore. http://www.pediped.com.sg/

What we used was the old school ones, "marcelo" shoes and the sock type with rubber soles you can get in department stores. For going out, my daughter most if the time my daughter is in her rubber shoes.

Pediped or bobux are great soft soles as a start off. Get them during the sales, prices are usually much cheaper them. They are worth every penny.

thanks
