If you are breastfeeding, I highly recommend that you get a co-sleeper so you don't have to leave the bed just to feed your baby. If you have a baby cot, you can just place it next to your bed and remove one side so you can access your baby easily. A popular co-sleeper is the Arms Reach Co-sleeper. Other alternatives include Chicco Next 2 Me bedside crib and the Halo Bassinet co sleeper.

Just to add on, if your baby would be sleeping in his own cot, do make sure that the mattress is firm & solid so minimize the risk of SID. Babysafe is a popular choice amongst mummies. http://babysafe.sg/collections/mattresses/products/latex-mattress

Better buy double layer hooded towel, because its safe if your baby start to moving and also its easy to wash.
