I've read that at the very core of the Reggio Emilia approach is the concept of wonder. "Wonder" here refers to the process of learning and wonder which is an integral quality within all children -- they are natural scientists driven by curiosity. So I reckon that this approach will help hone a child's natural observational skills and as well as train his ability to form strong theories about the world around them.
