What's the real deal about delaying taking your bath immediately after giving birth? Is it really safer/ more beneficial?

Whatever your OB says, I guess that needs to be followed. Based on experience and stories from my friends, we were all allowed to take a bath as soon as you are able to get out of bed and walk. I had undergone CS twice, and as soon as we went home, I took a bath already. In fact, on the second or third day when I was practicing how to walk again, I already took a shower. No harm felt on my end and with my friends as well.

No medical explanation really. Ako, after I gave birth, Naligo agad ako pagdating sa bahay. Sa hospital naman half bath before umuwi. Hindi din ako pinagbawalan ng OB ko na maligo and I didn't experience anything naman.
