What / how do u feel if most of your mummies friends sent their kids to "prestigious" preschool, but only u couldn't afford to give your child the better environment at those? I felt I am drawn back when I have no longer common topic when we engage among ourselves..

Hey mummy, don't be upset or stressed over it! The brand/name of school your child goes to, shoes/clothes they wear, amount of enrichment they go to, activities they are involved in - they all DO NOT MATTER :) Instead of trying to get your child into prestigious schools or signing up for all those classes, you're better off just letting your child enjoy childhood while they can - and then get them into classes they actually like! In fact, if you constantly put your child into prestigious schools, growing up with branded items and putting a lot of emphasis on that - you might be indirectly causing stress to your child to keep up with this lifestyle all their lives. It's easy for one that's raised "poorly" to work hard and be happy/successful, but it may be harder for someone who grew up with prestigious names and branded items to keep up with the same "expectations" or living conditions as they grow older. Lastly, if you're constantly surrounded by such friends (mothers or not!), the easiest thing you can do for yourself is to stay away from them! Life isn't a race and growing up isn't a competition, the only person you need to compete with is the you from yesterday - and be better than you were yesterday :)
