Essentially it’s about the compatibility between baby’s head and your pelvis. If baby’s head is big but your pelvis is big too, there’s a chance of normal delivery. But if the head can’t fit into your pelvis, then no matter how hard you push, it’ll be no use, and you’ll end up with an emergency C-section. If you’re still very keen to try for a normal delivery and understand the risks (including foetal distress, long labour, needing a crash/emergency C-section, etc), you can discuss further with your gynae. Things may sound scary or not what you hoped for, but remember that you’re amazing for carrying baby this far:) and no matter which method of delivery it turns out to be, as long as baby’s safe, you’ll be so happy when holding baby in your arms ❤️
