FAMHEALTHY #ALLABOUTBAKUNA

A week after giving birth to Sean, we visited his pedia for his first check up. The pedia asked us if we want to do his monthly “bakuna” in the hospital or at the health center. If you were to ask, what would you choose? ? After watching the #FAMHEALTHY webinar of @theasianparent_ph with Sanofi last Tuesday, I would say that I made the right decision for choosing the health center for his immunization because... 1. The vaccines given at the hospital and health centers are just the same. Both are safe and effective. 2. Vaccines given at the health centers are totally FREE! 3. The health center is more accessible from our place rather than the hospital. In case you missed the live webinar, you can still watch it at the @theasianparent_ph Facebook page. ? . . #AllAboutBakuna #SanofiActs #WorldImmunizationWeek #theAsianParentPHLive #VaccinesWork

Nasa choice naman ng parents kung saan nila prefer. Yes maaring makatipid sa hc's dahil libre nga. Pero minsan kasi di mo rin maiiwasan na magduda. Lalo na kung naniniwala ka sa "there's no such thing as free lunch". You pay for premium sa hospitals due to a mindset of guarantee. Hindi ko naman sinasabi na delikado sa HC's or perpekto ang mga pedia sa hospital. Pero yung pakiramdam na pedia yun at kilalang hospital gives you the assurance that your child gets the best that you can give him. Nanganak si misis sa private hospital, and may auto pedia na sya. Pero after 1 checkup, we decided n lumipat ng MMC, kahit mas mahal at mas malayo, sulit naman kasi mas nakakapagtanong kami directly sa pedia (not thru secretary or assistant). Kahit maliit na pula sa balat, picture at send lang. Point ko lang naman ay, kung kaya mo lang din naman, dun ka sa kung san ka mas komportable.
