Hello, Not solely. Because I have seen many people who are short but the kids are tall. And I have one such example in my friend list only. I think, the kids take their genetic make up from their grandparents too. So, it would not entirely depend on the parents, though you may say that majority of examples you happen to see where if parents are tall kids too are and visa vis. Yes, it does play a role in determining the height o f the child but it is not the only factor. There are other factors too that determines the height of the child, like, gender, nutrition, physical exercise.
i am not sure if this is entirely true, as i have seen many instances where the father is short and the child is really tall, and the mother is really overweight or slim and the child is opposite in weight.
