done once 10 years ago at kkh, no issue with amniocentesis procedure. they did ultrasound together and everything was pretty swift. had it when baby was 16 weeks due to high risk of down syndrome. don't remember it was painful but definitely nervous seeing the needle being so long. my result was out within a week.
No i didn’t, going well at week 26 now. Amnio procedure itself was 3mins tops, and results was out in 2 weeks
