Amniocentesis

Hi mummies! Did anyone got 1:13 high risk after NIPT test did you proceed with taking the amniocentesis after? Is there any hope that the result will be any different? I have adenomyosis too. Will the risk of miscarriage be higher with this condition? Been searching everywhere for answers but none.. 😢

We received a high risk for one of the sex chromosomal aneuploidies from the NIPT. We are proceeding with amniocentesis, hoping for a false positive on the NIPT results. It’s a tough season, hoping the best results for you too!

Hi! My amniocentesis went well. Good news is no DS but baby was diagnosed with extra chromosomes called XYY. We decided to keep the baby regardless. 😊 As not a lot of studies shown. It’s 1 of 1000 babies has it apparently. Just was not diagnosed before or at birth. But found out later in life.
