Is there a way to prevent my 10 month old daughter from licking (putting in her mouth) everything?

There is really no way we can stop them from doing so, what I make sure though is that my kiddos don't get anything they could easily put in their mouth, I know that for some making the house child proof is challenging though it does have its benefits.
